The letters are out! We have officially submitted our idea for Church of Art to several municipalities, and we hope this will be the start of great collaborations. We can’t wait to be invited to further explain our plans.
What Is Church of Art?
Church of Art is our dream: a place where art, music, and creativity come together. It’s a meeting spot for artists, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs to develop their talents and collaborate. Imagine studios, a recording space, a gallery, an art shop, and a cozy café where performances and exhibitions can also take place. In short: a creative hub full of energy and connection.
Why This Step?
Vacant properties are a challenge in many municipalities, but we see an opportunity in them. With our initiative, we aim to transform vacant buildings into spaces that not only revitalize the neighborhood but also contribute to culture, innovation, and the local economy. We believe Church of Art can do more than just provide a stage for art – it can truly benefit the entire community.
What Are We Asking from the Municipalities?
In our letter, we asked municipalities to discuss potential collaboration with us. We are thinking of:
Opportunities to repurpose vacant buildings;
Support with permits and procedures;
Possible financial aid to cover initial startup and renovation costs.
Together, we hope to bring our plans to life and contribute to a vibrant, creative, and attractive municipality.
