Sometimes, you have those days when nothing seems to go right. You feel stuck, especially when dealing with your teenager, facing the same issues over and over again. It takes a toll—not just on me as a mother, but also as a creative person. My creativity completely stalls during those moments.
A while ago, I started meditating again. It helps me slow down and put the brakes on my racing mind. I should also mention that I occasionally smoke a light joint. I stopped for a while, thinking it would be better for me, but recently, I decided to try it again with a more open mind toward myself.
Lately, though, I haven’t felt comfortable in my “human packaging.” The restlessness kept building. Yesterday, I had an amazing conversation with my partner. He shares my outlook on life but also brings a refreshing perspective. Conversations like that are invaluable. Together, we came up with a solution for the challenges with my teenager because it was draining my energy.
This morning, I got up early to share the plan with my daughter. After that, I went back to bed for a few hours of sleep—I’m definitely a night owl. Before starting work, I had coffee with Bas and spotted a robin in the garden. Was it a coincidence? Maybe not.
The spiritual meaning of a robin really struck me:
The robin symbolizes spiritual renewal and transformation. It represents hope, happiness, and positivity. It can help us connect with our inner strength and guide us on our spiritual journey.
That message felt very clear today. The plan for my daughter is already showing results, and I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Later, I smoked another joint, and the difference was immediate. The restlessness faded, and I felt fully in touch with myself again. My mind was calm, and during meditation, I could visualize everything perfectly and even feel what I wanted to experience.
In short, the universe gives you the help you ask for. The signs are there if you’re open to seeing them. And yes, for me, hash is a miracle plant. I have deep respect for what nature gives us and feel grateful for its existence.
To those who may feel differently but rely on alcohol… let’s be honest: the world might be a better place if more people smoked instead of drank.
With love,
Debbie ❤️
